Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all orders placed with Maison Dessert.

Payment

Payment in full is by bank transfer/pay ID and must be made at the time of ordering for your order to be initiated and confirmed.

Payment of your invoice confirms that you have read and understood the Terms and Conditions.

Rush feeA rush fee of $20 will be added to your order if it is placed within 7 days of pickup. The total on the invoice must be paid in full within 24 hours of receiving your invoice for your order to be confirmed and initiated.

AllergiesMy cookies contain gluten, dairy, eggs and nuts. It is the responsibility of the client to inform anyone they are sharing my cookies with about potential allergens. Whilst I take care to list ingredients, I cannot guarantee the complete absence of allergens. My signature vanilla cookie recipe includes almond extract, so please let me know if this needs to be left out when you place your order.

Changes to orders

Any request for changes to orders must be communicated as early as possible and may not be able to be accommodated. Extra charges may be applied accordingly.

Design disclaimer

My cookies are handmade to a high-quality, however, minor imperfections may occur due to the nature of hand piping and decorating. Slight variations in colour, design and size are expected and not considered defects.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations are only permitted more than 10 days before the pick up date. The amount paid will be refunded minus a $20 cancellation fee and the cost of any specially ordered or prepared items (such as cookie cutters).

Any cancellations made within 10 days before the pick up date are non-refundable.

Refund policyI do not accommodate change of mind refunds. I will issue a refund if your order cannot be fulfilled or is cancelled by the business. In the unlikely event that your order is received damaged, please contact me as you may be eligible for a refund. Please note, any damage that occurs after collection from Maison Dessert is not the responsibility of the business and cannot be refunded.

Pickup/delivery

The agreed-upon collection or delivery date and time is final and cannot be changed unless mutually agreed. If you need to make changes, please get in touch as soon as possible — I'll do my best to work with you and find a solution, subject to availability. Please also consider travel time when planning your collection — I am located in Ashby, 6065.

Shipping with Australia Post

I cannot take responsibility for any delays, damages, or losses during transit once your order is with Australia Post. For extra peace of mind, I always Express Post and add shipping insurance to your order. You will also be provided with the tracking number.
